Do you, like me, also love buttons?

I am absolutely passionate about buttons. I have a huge collection and I could spend hours enjoying their beauty.

Some buttons are real pieces of art.

Pretty buttons are a super quick fix way to upcycle pre-loved clothes and give them a new, personal touch.

Change the buttons on your old, white shirt and you will get a whole new garment.

When you add buttons on the straps on your slip dress, you will make it even more unique.

I got the inspiration from the italian icon Anna Piaggi. She was really one of my biggest idols. I love the style of Anna Piaggi.

The dress below is made of old jeans and old buttons. I´ve been collecting buttons as long as I can remember.

During World War II, there were those who amused themselves by begging soldiers for buttons. The soldiers were charmed with sweets and beautiful words and left a button in exchange for compliments and tempting promises.... Many soldiers lost their pants from all the attention!

You could also make cool art works with buttons, like this button-copy of Isaac Grunewalds "Self portrait in uniform"

You can also make jewellery out of your buttons. I made this button-jewellery to celebrate International Women´s Day.

Even the plainest garment comes to life when you add colour and sparkle from buttons.
