October is here and the nights are getting longer and darker. The mysteriously dark evenings are perfect when you like to stay at home next to your sewing machine.

If you would like to make your life even more mysterious, try out this mysterious coat! The text on the photos shows the description in swedish with the measurements in centimeters. Try out google translate if swedish is not your language.

The pictures are from a project I made for the swedish magazine Julia. It was published ages ago, but the coat is still as magical. The magically cute girl on the photos shows my niece Michelle.

I was pregnant with my oldest son Adrian when I made the coat and as the coat was huge I hade to do the printing of the stars lying on the floor. It wasnt't easy doing the printing with my big baby-belly.

The coat on the photos is made out of shiny lining fabric but you could use an old sheet or tablecloth if you want to. You can use cardboard to make the collar stiff, just put it between two layers of fabric.
It is a pure pleasure to make this coat. You will get wonderfully lost in the magical hocus pocus textile world!

Even Ken will have the chance to show his magical mood!
Sharpen your scissors, get your sewing machine ready and fly into the magical textile world.
